Master & Servant - Hoxton Square, London

Depeche Mode fan and Masterchef finalist Matt Edwards, who has previously worked at: St. John Hotel and Hix, Soho London, has opened the gorgeous Master & Servant in the home of London's hipsters, Hoxton Square.

DeFrae have provided the Hartley Side chair, stained in black to complement the uber contemporary design.

The Hartley's spindle back detail give this chair a vintage feel. The Hartley is held in stock and can be stained to any RAL colour or any wood stain finish making it both a stylish and versatile addition to any contract environment.

India's famous Moti Mohal Delux restaurant has just arrived in Harrow, London.

A combination of comfort, music and excellent food will allow guests at Moti Mahal Delux to experience an enjoyable dining experience. Moti Mohal Delux believe that dining out is about social interaction and relaxation not distractions. Every element of the restaurant is designed to create a positive experience for their guests.

DeFrae are delighted to have supplied bespoke seating, table tops and bases, Louis style & Holly armchairs, Jenson tub chairs and Genoa side chairs.

The Genoa side chairs were upholstered in a range of gold faux leathers and plain browns from the waterproof fabric range by Sunbury Design.

The Genoa is a stylish and contemporary side chair perfect for any restaurant setting. The elegant high back offers a wonderful twist of both upholstery and wood detail . The Genoa can be upholstered in any fabric, faux leather or leather and the frame can be stained to any wood finish. This chair is held in stock for those needing a quick delivery. An ideal choice for any contract environment.

The Holly Armchairs had a mix of a gold seat together with brown back and arms allowing them to fit effortlessly in with the rest of the seating.

The Holly Armchair is a simple yet stylish armchair perfect for any restaurant or lounge setting. The high back and upholstered arms ensure comfort as well as durability. The Holly can be upholstered in your choice of fabric or leather and the frame can be stained to any wood finish. This chair is held in stock making it the perfect addition to any contract environment.

DeFrae.com hand crafted and upholstered bespoke seating including 2 No. curved booths with the ever-popular and stylish, Chesterfield button detail on the back of the seats.  All seating was upholstered in various fabrics, including faux leathers and wonderful stripes from the latest range of contemporary, yet extremely durable Camira fabrics.

DeFrae's bespoke tabletops were made from MDF to allow the Client to cover with tablecloths.  Tops were made in various sizes including tables for 2 and also a large circular table to seat 12 – 24 people.  Cast-iron table bases were also supplied to support all the tabletops.  DeFrae offer a wide range of table bases to suit all tabletop sizes.

For the lounge area, DeFrae supplied Jenson tub chairs in brown faux leather together with Louis style armchairs in gold.

This has been a great project for DeFrae to work on and we are very proud of the results.  If you are in the Harrow area of London and love authentic Indian cuisine, you MUST try the Moti Mahal Delux.

Sugar & Snow, Ice Cream and Pancake House, Horsham, West Sussex

DeFrae are delighted to have worked with the delicious Sugar & Snow in Horsham; creating a bespoke look for this new Ice Cream Parlour and Pancake House. Working closely with the Client, we provided bespoke booth seating in a range of colours,together with the stunning Caprice side chairs and bespoke tabletops all of which complete this contemporary look. 

DeFrae's Caprice side chairs are part of a striking family of chairs and stools. The polymer shell is available in either a shiny or transparent finish, with a selection of frames in either a chrome or painted finish, all of which are stackable. The Caprice is a beautiful and stunning chair which comes with a matching bar stool and armchair. The latest model includes a wooden 4 legged frame. Peapod Cafe, Billericay, Essex

The Peapod Cafe has just opened in Billericay, Essex and DeFrae are proud to have supplied bespoke tabletops and bases together with our gorgeous Leon bar stools in light pink.

DeFrae's bespoke table tops and bases have been manufactured to exact requirements for this busy contemporary cafe

The Leon bar stools complement the modern feel of this cafe. Based on the original Tolix A design from the 1930's, the Leon bar stool can be powder coated to any RAL colour giving it a contemporary feel. The Peapod cafe chose light pink to work with the pastel colours of their seating. A very versatile stool, great for both interior and exterior use. 

All our tabletops can be manufactured to your exact size and thickness. They are available in a wide choice of finishes including solid wood, laminate and veneer. All the bespoke tabletops are produced in the UK and are suitable for any contract environment including hotels, restaurants, bars and coffee shops. DeFrae vs The Big Chill House: The 2013 remix

DeFrae have been working with the uber cool Big Chill bars since 2011.  Its great to work with such a great team and big thanks to Lucy Tauber and all the guys at Big Chill Kings Cross.

The X-chair and Paris side chairs dominate the bar areas making this feel like a bar to welcome London's trend setters and night life lovers.

The X-Chair looks great with a green shell and anthracite X marked in the centre of the chair.  One of our personal favourites from the Milan Furniture Fair 2012.  The name comes from the distinctive sign on the polypropylene shell. The X is not only striking but is extremely versatile with several kinds of frames available in different finishes.  

The X Chair is available in a range of colours including yellow, white, green, beige and grey.  The X Chair is also stackable making it perfect for clearing away for evening revellers.
The X is also available with a matching barstool.

Working delightfully in contrast to the X Chair is the Paris in a mixture of baby blue, yellow, lime green and black.  The Paris is a retro-looking side chair - great for funky bars, restaurants and hotels. This item is held in stock for immediate delivery and is also available in a black finish.

Historic St Michael's Mount Cornwall, Island Cafe gets the DeFrae look.

The refurbished Island Cafe looks stunning with the Uni side chairs in Boss green and Azure blue mixed around our Carlton table bases and bespoke tabletops.

Bespoke Tabletops and Bases - Camino Canary Wharf

Some gorgeous new photo's of our bespoke tables at Camino's Peurto Del Canario in Canary Wharf. Working with our friends at Sector Sixteen design, Defrae were asked to produce bespoke table tops to fit banquette seating matching the style of existing tables. We hope you agree the results look stunning.

DeFrae's bespoke tabletops were finished in a solid ash polished clear to match existing tops. The table tops were produced to a 40mm thickness with polished edge to match.

Our Dream Table bases finished the look with a black circular pedestal & column.  The Dream is a tulip-shaped table base available in either a polished or brushed stainless steel finish. The footprint of the base is 560mm Diameter. This base will support a maximum top size of 900mm x 900mm or 1300mm Diameter. Coffee and bar height options are also available making this a popular table base for bars, hotels and restaurants.

Bespoke Tabletops and Dream table bases complete a very contemporary look at this very popular bar in the heart of London's Canary Wharf.

The Belle Armchair is a gorgeous and stylish addition to any commercial environment. The popular medallion back and the luxurious arms and seat, ensure comfort as well as style. The Belle is the perfect armchair for hotels and restaurants alike.

Working with interior designers all items were produced to the Client’s exact drawings demonstrating DeFrae’s expertise in the Hotel industry to create this boutique hotel’s inspirational feel.

"Having used Danni to supply seating previously, I set her a new challenge – a 22 bedroom hotel – in Switzerland – on very tight timescales. I designed the entire range of bespoke furniture, and approved a wood sample - Danni made sure the rest just happened! As agreed – on time, on budget, and exceeding quality expectations – all the furniture made it to the hotel and my client was extremely pleased with the result.
