To add to the glamour and sophistication of each room, upholstered items included the wonderful headboards, matching bolster cushions and the stylish and classic Belle Armchair.

The Belle Armchair is a gorgeous and stylish addition to any commercial environment. The popular medallion back and the luxurious arms and seat, ensure comfort as well as style. The Belle is the perfect armchair for hotels and restaurants alike.

Working with interior designers all items were produced to the Client’s exact drawings demonstrating DeFrae’s expertise in the Hotel industry to create this boutique hotel’s inspirational feel.

I designed the entire range of bespoke furniture, and approved a wood sample - Danni made sure the rest just happened! Opera at the Guyers House Hotel, Corsham

DeFrae have been working with the beautiful country house hotel, Guyers House Hotel in Corsham near Bath, Wiltshire.

This celebrated AA rosette restaurant selected the Opera side chair to refresh the look and feel of the restaurant.

The Opera side chair is a classic and stylish dining chair perfect for restaurants and hotels. It can upholstered in the fabric or leather of your choice and the legs can be stained to any wood finish. The high back and full seat ensure comfort as well as elegance and make this an ideal dining chair for any contract environment.

For the Guyers House Hotel's restaurant the Opera side chair has been upholstered in a Tahoe Twine, a fire resistant hard wearing fabric specifically designed for heavy contract use.  The Opera's wood frame has been stained to a dark mahogany finish to ensure the chairs showcase the character of the restaurant within this gorgeous country house.

Purple Thai, South Woodford, East London

Working closely with Purple Thai, DeFrae supplied all the interior furniture for the new Thai restaurant in East London.  The Ascot side chairs were supplied with a wenge frame with the seat upholstered in a stunning purple faux leather which matched perfectly with the Restaurant's colour scheme.

The Ascot side chair is classic style restaurant chair. It has a solid beech frame and is produced and upholstered with the seat and back in standard faux leather. There are 18 colour-ways available and COM is also optional. A perfect chair for any restaurant, hotel or coffee shop. This item is also held in stock for immediate delivery.

The tabletops and bar stools were upholstered in a gold faux leather and bespoke seating with it's high fluted back was also provided in the striking gold vinyl to add a touch of exclusivity.

To give an environment that extra bit of individuality as well as utilising space to its potential, DeFrae offer a bespoke seating service.

Working together with you, your Architect or Designer, our bespoke seating service includes a site survey, creation of initial plans, a wide choice of fabrics and final design sign-off.

We will then manufacture, deliver and install within a timescale agreed by all parties.The seating can be upholstered in the fabric of your choice and is available in a variety of designs.

A collection of 1950’s inspired cut velvets designed in the Sanderson studio. Leaf stripe motifs, geometric blocks of colour and stripes inspired by 1950’s pottery perfectly complement the prints and wallpapers in the 50’s collections.

Nancy goes to the Emerald Isles

DeFrae Contract Furniture working in partnership with Winroy are delighted to have supplied the gorgeous Nancy armchairs to a prestigious Client in Dublin, Ireland.


The Nancy Armchairs were upholstered in striking floral fabrics with an oak stained finish to the frames which worked in unison with their existing furniture.

The chairs are being used for various recreational areas within the Clients offices creating a stunning, contemporary and luxurious feel adding to the sumptuous surroundings.

The Nancy chairs were utilised throughout the offices open spaces and offered a comfortable setting for meetings within the office breakout areas.

The Nancy Armchair is part of a family of seats which ooze style as well as comfort and can be upholstered in any material of your choice perfect for today's coffee shops, restaurants, bars and offices.  

A matching Nancy lounge chair is also available.

Tiffany & Co - Old Bond Street

Diamonds are a girls best friend, and that best friend has to be Tiffany & Co.

Working at Tiffany & Co's prestigious Old Bond Street store in London, has been an inspiring and a wonderful project for DeFrae Contract Furniture.  


Our task was to re-upholster a wide range of chairs, sofa's and window seats throughout the store.  All the furniture was re-upholstered in luxurious fabrics from top designers including Osborne & Little, Harlequin and Holland & Sherry.


Over 60 pieces of seating were upholstered and frames stained to ensure a fresh new look ensued across their classic furniture range.  Full photo's to appear soon.
