Asian style al fresco dining in London's W1

DeFrae are proud to have worked with the AA rosette awarded Cocochan restaurant. Our gorgeous Ara side chairs, white Werzalit table tops and Ace Flip-Top bases make a stunning, contemporary outside eating area in the heart of London's West End, St Christopher's Place.

The Ara side chair was launched at the Milan Furniture Fair 2011. It's polypropylene moulded structure ensure style as well as durability making it ideal for any contract environment.  The Ara's tapered shape gives it a light and elegant feel. it is also stackable and suita­ble for both interior and exterior use.  The perfect choice for restaurants, coffee shops and outside areas. 


To complement the chairs and add to the contemporary feel, DeFrae provided white Werzalit table tops with the Ace flip-top base, allowing the tables to be easily stored at the end of each evening. 


Werzalit table tops are ideal for heavy contract use.  They are durable, available in a variety of shapes and sizes and due to the patented manufacturing technique; easy to clean and perfect for interior or outdoor use.  For more information please email sales@defrae.com

The Ace is an aluminium table base for easy storage with it's flip-top feature. Perfect for both interior and exterior use for any contract environment where space is of a premium. The Ace is suitable to hold tabletops up to a 700mm Diameter or square.

One of our latest residential projects took our hugely popular Jenson Tub Chairs with a fully upholstered gorgeous Sanderson fabric from the Laszlo Velvet collection.

A collection of 1950’s inspired cut velvets designed in the Sanderson studio. Leaf stripe motifs, geometric blocks of colour and stripes inspired by 1950’s pottery perfectly complement the prints and wallpapers in the 50’s collections.

The Amazing Pedrali Stand - Milan

DeFrae were truly inspired by the Pedrali stand at Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2012.

Some of the amazing chairs on view on the eclectic wheels and frames were a mixture of new designs being launched and some of Pedrali's most popular styles..  The stand dominated the show and was a credit to the designers who must have worked tirelessly getting this together.  

Some of these products are so new we haven't been able to add to our site yet but here's a sneak preview and will of course update you as soon as available.


The Koi Booki polypropylene chair, 100% recyclable, polypropylene shell, aluminium legs and frame made of die-casted aluminium.
Shell available in white, beige, orange, black or blue with either satinized or matching powder coated frame.

Introducing the new Malmö range including side chair, armchair and table.
The Chair and armchair are available with an ash timber frame in bleached or black stained finish; multilayer, fabric or leather upholstered shell.

The Ikon range of tables are suitable for interior or exterior use.  The polypropylene table base, solid laminate, glass or powder coated steel table top. Made from polypropylene and concrete ballast with adjustable feet available. Colours: white, black, light grey and beige. 

The Brera chair and matching stool have a solid oak structure, seat and hollow back, bleached oak or wenge stained finish. Also coming soon are a polyurethane shell with aluminium legs version.

The new Snow table with aluminium legs and gas air moulding polypropylene top. Ideal for indoor and outdoor use. The Snow table is available in white, beige and black colours.

Frida


The Frida side chair is a modern, contemporary chair perfect for any restaurant, coffee shop or hotel. Its modern design and shape gives an almost 3-D effect and the frame is available in either a bleached oak or wengé stain finish. A stylish side chair ideal for any interior contract environment.

Blitz


The Blitz side chair is a polycarbonate chair with a strong personal­ity. Available in various colours including transparent. The Blitz is a stackable chair and the essential structure make it easy to fit into any environment, where it will not go unnoticed.

Snow


The Snow side chair is a contemporary and fun chair. Made from polypropylene to ensure its durability for any contract environment. It is ideal for both interior and exterior use. Milan Furniture Fair 2012

Coming back from an inspirational time in Milan.   This years Milan had a real scandanivan feel with an all wood look. We met some amazing people and found some gorgeous new furniture to add to the collection.  Here are some of our favourites which we have just added to defrae.com


Milan also featured a wide a range of chairs with a contemporary polycarbonate or polypropylene shell finished off with a more traditional and classic looking wooden frame.

Designed by Sander Mulder and produced in Florence, Italy the Icon side chair is one that is sure to bring Italian style and design to any restaurant, bar or office.

We recently featured the Drop range of tables and chairs as one to look out for at Milan.  Well we love the range as its perfect for al-fresco dining but the launch look caught us by surprise.  Some exceptionally beautiful created designs by Brazilian artist, Romero Britto.  The bright 

colours and sharp contrasts will ensure this is will bring a real 'wow' factor to any environment.

The Venezia side chair also has a stunning new look courtesy of senhor Britto.
