The Ro Armchair.
The Ro is a stunning armchair available in a choice of contemporary wood finishes. The roundness of its back ensure comfort as well a style. Perfect for any contract dining environment.

The Mazy Armchair

The Mazy is a super stylish armchair with its network of branches, it creates a hybrid maze look. Designed by Ronald Jeanson, the seat can be upholstered in a wide choice of fabrics, ensuring the Mazy is comfortable and well as striking. A perfect armchair for any hotel or restaurant environment.

Pelota Stackable Side Chair
Brand new from the Milan Furniture Fair 2012, is the Pelota family of seating which includes side chair, armchair and matching bar stool. The striking design of the seat and back is in die-cast aluminium and there is a wide choice of frames available. The Pelota is also perfect for exterior use making it the ideal chair for any contract environment.

Caprice
The Caprice is part of a striking family of chairs and stools. The polymer shell is available in either a shiny or transparent finish, with a selection of frames in either a chrome or painted finish, all of which are stackable. The Caprice is a beautiful and stunning chair which comes with a matching bar stool and armchair. The latest model from Milan 2012, includes a wooden 4 legged frame. This side chair is perfect for any coffee shop, restaurant or hotel.

The Gate Restaurant, Islington is now open

DeFrae Contract Furniture are proud to have recently worked with the highly acclaimed and most successful vegetarian restaurant in London, The Gate.

To complement their existing chairs DeFrae provided bespoke tabletops in solid ash stained to a contemporary wenge finish.  Tabletops to seat both 2 and 4 people were supplied.

For the bar area DeFrae have provided the Relish Bar Stool.  The Relish Bar Stool offers the ever popular industrial steel look. Available in an uber stylish clear lacquered finish, the Relish will make an impact on any interior or exterior space. This bar stool is held in stock for immediate delivery and is also available with matching side chair and armchair. Ideal for restaurants, hotels and coffee shops.

The Gate opened in Islington on the 1st of June 2012 and DeFrae send everyone at The Gate our best wishes.

The Gate's Hammersmith vegetarian restaurant has a vast offering of what they call Indo-Iraqi Jewish cuisine; a mixture of different flavours that are brought together by the multicultural owners, brothers Adrian and Michael Daniel. It’s been running since 1989 when the brothers just wanted to serve good food in a relaxed atmosphere, and has since become London’s most popular vegetarian restaurant.  
The Gate is launching in Islington on the 1st of June. The restaurant offers casual dining Monday to Sunday, a weekend brunch and an all day mezze bar menu.

Milan Furniture Fair 2012

Coming back from an inspirational time in Milan.   This years Milan had a real scandanivan feel with an all wood look. We met some amazing people and found some gorgeous new furniture to add to the collection.  Here are some of our favourites which we have just added to defrae.com


Milan also featured a wide a range of chairs with a contemporary polycarbonate or polypropylene shell finished off with a more traditional and classic looking wooden frame.


The Icon Range of chairs.


Designed by Sander Mulder and produced in Florence, Italy the Icon side chair is one that is sure to bring Italian style and design to any restaurant, bar or office.


The Icon range is available with the seat in a choice of either transparent, white or black polycarbonate.  The wooden base is available in natural, ash, black or walnut.

The Drop & Venezia

We recently featured the Drop range of tables and chairs as one to look out for at Milan.  Well we love the range as its perfect for al-fresco dining but the launch look caught us by surprise.  Some exceptionally beautiful created designs by Brazilian artist, Romero Britto.  The bright 

colours and sharp contrasts will ensure this is will bring a real 'wow' factor to any environment.

The Venezia side chair also has a stunning new look courtesy of senhor Britto.

Razza, Woodford Green

This week saw DeFrae complete the supply and delivery of restaurant furniture to a family of Indian restaurants in Essex – Razza (Woodford Green), Red City (Felsted) and Out of India (Gidea Park).

DeFrae worked closely with each restaurant to refurbish existing premises. Razza Woodford Green, for example, now includes new bar facilities on a mezzanine floor.

DeFrae products can be seen in each restaurant including the Spice chair from our new “Limits” range.

Each project includes bespoke tabletops in a variety of shapes and sizes.

Broadway House - Private Members Club in Fulham

DeFrae have been very busy recently delivering some great furniture to Broadway House, an eagerly awaited private members bar in Fulham, London SW6.

The new club sits above The Broadway Bar & Grill and Brasa, making full use of the top floor and boasts twin terraces, a cocktail bar, restaurant, rooftop bar with a barbecue, as well as private functions rooms.
